TIGER/Line to and from E00 file conversion

This page converts a line network product called the Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referency System (TIGER) to and from ARC/INFO coverages.

TIGERARC <in_tiger_file_prefix> <out_cover> {out_point_cover} {out_landmark_cover}

URL address for the zipped dataset (Sorry FTP only). (ftp/http://domain/directories/filename.zip):

The name of the in_tiger_file_prefix(eg. tgr23023.bw):

The name of the output coverage to be created containing all the basic line
features and attribute data from the set of TIGER/Line files:

The name of the optional output coverage that contains point features that represent
polygon label points for polygons in {out_cover}:

The name of the optional output point coverage containing landmark features:

Coverage Processing

Project the output coverage
Create topology

Projection File

Type the projection_file in the following box.
Make sure to leave a space before each
carriage return:

Export File

Options, specifies the data type to be exported to the interchange file:

Options, specifies how numbers and blanks will be compressed in the export file:

The file name prefix for files to be written (eg. tgr23023.bw):
