An examination of the post mortem records of 500 cases pericarditis in children
Abstract
This thesis is founded upon an examination of the Post Mortem records of cases of Pericarditis at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. The original intention was to examine the cases of Pyopericardium only, but I have thought it better to give an account of all the cases in the records in which the pericarium differed from normal in any way, going more fully into that class of cases in which the condition of Pyopericardium is most frequently found.
