Abstract
As we approach the ten year anniversary of Oxford Brookes University’s institutional repository RADAR we revisit the slides from the 2009 launch event and ask whether the original aims for the repository have been fulfilled. The scope of RADAR has grown over the years as extra collections, formats, and functionalities have been added, including a recent exciting experiment with 3D models. In parallel there has been a decade of significant developments in Open Access and Research Data Management. As such, now seems an appropriate time to ask if the original role envisaged for RADAR is still current, and imagine what further growth the Oxford Brookes institutional repository might go through over the next decade.
