Notes on the history, cause, and prevention of malaria

Abstract

We propose to outline briefly the steps that slowly led up to the discovery of the Plasmodium which cause the disease, the means by which it is carried from man to man, the methods undertaken to prevent the spread of the infection, and to conclude with a description of a series of experiments done by ourselves while serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps.
