Hydrogen as a Storage Medium in Scotland

Abstract

This report investigates the options for hydrogen storage and its potential for reducing curtailment and providing energy storage in Scotland. The role of hydrogen peaking power for electricity generation during times of low renewable energy generation is also investigated.
