Historical Documents of Fire Safety Engineering Collection

 

This collection comes from a student led project which aims to digitally preserve and catalogue historical documents related to fire safety and protection engineering. The emphasis of this project is on literature materials from the Georgian and Victorian eras or earlier. Photographs, books, journals, letters and research notes are contained herein. The materials are considered to be quite rare, and mostly forgotten with time. It is hoped that this archive can be used for historians of science and those considering interdisiplinary studies.
