dc.description.abstract
This report maps existing public engagement on the heat transition in Scotland. It describes a wide range of activity across the public, private and charitable sectors. However, it finds targeted engagement is lacking for a number of audiences included private landlords, renters, professionals in the energy sector, young people and the digitally excluded. A lack of regulatory clarity on clean heat and energy efficiency was highlighted as a key reason for the engagement gap among landlords and the energy sector.
