Shops and Offices: The Shops Regulations 1963

Abstract

Under the Shops Regulations 1937 the prescribed form of notice of the intention of a local authority to make certain orders relating to Sunday trading in shops requires the proposed order to be appended to the notice. Under the amendments effected by these Regulation it will only be required to specify the effect of the proposed order in the notice, but the local authority will be required to keep a copy of the proposed order available for inspection during the period in which objections may be made
