Abstract

Mild sepsis is to be looked upon as a definite clinical entity, preventable by careful attention and guidance at delivery and birth. The disease may have far -reaching results and may present a widely variable clinical picture. The haemotological picture, like the clinical picture, is variable, and no definite standard can be laid down for this examination. Once the disease is established good nursing and a dietetic regime may help to overcome the infection and initiate recovery.
