An investigation of over one hundred cases of late congenital syphilis

Abstract

The oases here analysed have been collected during the year 1925 from the Nottingham Clinic for Veneral Diseases and the little hospital run in conjunction with it. This is an independent c l i n i c , working apart from any other institution and fed alike from the General Hospital, Eye Infirmary, Blind Institution, Ear, Hose & Throat Hospital, Child welfare and Antenatal clinics, and by the general practitioners of the city. These facts are here mentioned at the outset to indicate that the cases may be fairly regarded as representative of late congenital syphilis as it exists in the community at large.
