Abstract

The report assesses existing national and regional approaches to measuring greenhouse gas emissions associated with the tourism sector. It considers the applicability of various methodologies for the Scottish context, considering the scope for meaningful disaggregation by geography, subsector or activity. It then recommends a proportionate, staged approach to establishing a baseline for the sector that can be repeated to track progress over time.
