dc.description.abstract
The present work describes the development of a method for
the estimation of plasma kinin and kininogen suitable for use
with clinical blood samples. This method has been used to study
kinin-release in two clinical conditions, the carcinoid and
post-gastrectomy (dumping) syndromes, and its possible
relationship to physiological stress. The experimental study is
divided into two sections, (i) Methodology and (ii) Application
of Method.
