Abstract

This handbook explores the concept of "dialogue" as it is used in public engagement. It aims to introduce a summarised, communication-focussed view of various approaches to public dialogue and deliberation. It brings together ideas from various disciplines and fields of practice, and to explore how they can be put them to work towards meaningful public engagement.
