dc.description.abstract
These illustrations explaining how natural processes can support woodland creation in Great Britain were developed after discussions with the TreE PlaNat Knowledge User Board (a panel of practitioners working in woodland creation) suggested that visualisations of different woodland creation methods and how they may develop through time would be helpful for engaging with land managers. There are three sets: 1) illustrations of definitions of each creation methods, 2) illustrations of how landscapes might change through time under each method, and 3) possible management interventions during the woodland establishment stage.
