Abstract
The nematodes, trematodes and cestodes which have been found in domesticated animals of the genera Camelus and Lama are given in a host-site-parasite list. The individual helminths, their distribution and their known clinical, pathological and economic roles are discussed. The environmental factors affecting the possible significance of helminthiasis in the Camelidae are outlined.
A brief criticism is made of the literature that has been published on this subject.
