Code of Practice Safety of Load on Vehicles

Abstract

The object of the Code is to provide operators, drivers and loading staff with guidance as to the basic safety principles that must be followed generally, and as to some particular precautions that can be taken to ensure the safe carriage of several of the more common types of load. This Code provides a useful range of information based on recognised proven good practice in this field and has regard particularly to the increasingly higher performance capabilities of modern vehicles.
